Do you reccommend taking a cab from Carribbean Beach Resort to Boma for dinner or do you reccommend taking the bus to AK then to AK Lodge for the dinner at Boma? (Are the cab fares expensive?)

Hi Janelle! The buffet at Boma has such unique and tasty foods; it's definitely worth the hassle of getting over to the Animal Kingdom Lodge from another resort! I'm frugal, so I try to use Disney transportation as much as possible since it's free. You might find that taking the bus to Blizzard Beach and then switching to an Animal Kingdom Lodge bus is a little faster than taking the bus to the Animal Kingdom park, so if the Blizzard Beach bus shows up first, take that one. The trip will take at least 30 to 45 minutes. If you're in a hurry, or don't want to spend that much time traveling, a taxi could get you to the Animal Kingdom Lodge in about 15 minutes. I've found that cab rides at Walt Disney World generally run between $15 and $20 each way.

Enjoy Boma, and be sure to walk out to the savanna viewing area to look at the animals while you're at the Lodge! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
