Hello Just rebooked my trip from April 15 to the end of June with the free dining plan yet I am not sure If disney will be back to normal when I arrive, and I am not sure if I can meet charters especially at charter meals?

    Hi Courtney!

I'm so happy to hear you that you were able to reschedule your Walt Disney World vacation. I'm hopeful that planning and dreaming about a magical vacation will help the time pass quickly!

I wish I could give you a definitive answer that everything will be back to normal soon, but unfortunately, things are changing so quickly these days that it is hard to do that. I am totally confident, however, that Walt Disney World will do the absolute best they can to provide a fun, safe environment for you and your family to interact with the characters. After all, what could be a better way to bring happiness to guests than hugging Mickey!

Of course, you'll have a difficult decision to make regarding your upcoming trip: which Character Meal should you go to! I can never pick just one! One of our favorites is the Tusker House Restaurant which is located in Harambe in Disney's Animal Kingdom. We love to experience Kilimanjaro Safaris early in the morning and then have a late breakfast with Safari Donald and Daisy. It is the perfect touch to our day, after all, where else can you be immersed in Africa while enjoying delicious food and fun character interactions!

Another great character meal option that is the top of my Must-Do List is Breakfast a la Art with Mickey & Friends at Topolino's Terrace. Since this restaurant is located at Disney's Riviera Resort, it is a great option for a non-park day. I often schedule a fun meal like this as a way to wrap up our vacation. I'll never pass up one last hug from Mickey before heading home!

As new details emerge for park operation, character meals, or other updates, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. They often share the latest news and announcements regarding not only the current health and safety issues but also fun things too. In fact, if you haven't visited lately, you'll want to check out some of the fun ideas for your time at home: recent posts include a tour of Disney Imagineering and a tutorial on how to draw Mickey Mouse!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and don't hesitate to let us know if we can help plan any additional details for your trip!
