Since we rebook our trip, will we be able to get new luggage tags?

Hello, Ashley, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be during my favorite season, so I hope you're ready for some fall fun at the theme parks. Let's see the latest status on luggage tags so you can travel in style!

I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who said that you might be eligible to receive luggage tags if you've booked a Walt Disney World Travel Company Vacation Package, which bundles your resort stay and park tickets. These are typically mailed out about two weeks before your trip but are subject to availability and not guaranteed. If you need more clarification on eligibility, please call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for details.

It sounds like your trip might have been rescheduled, and you already received a set of tags for your original trip dates. In that case, I'm happy to let you know you can still use those for your new trip. In the past, the luggage tags let the now-discontinued Magical Express service know where your bags needed to go. But since that service is no longer offered, the luggage tags are mainly used as a fun touch of pixie dust for your vacation.

My final tip is to check bag tags on shopDisney to choose magical ways to personalize everyone's luggage. My favorite is my Star Wars tag: "These are NOT the bags you are looking for." Have fun shopping for tags that represent your Disney style, Ashley!

I hope your upcoming visit is full of pumpkin spice and falling leaves, Ashley, and please stop by planDisney with any other questions. I'd love to help!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
