What does reassigning a ticket mean?

Hi Barbara! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth will be here before you know it! I bet you and your party are getting so excited and starting to count down the days! Speaking of a countdown, did you know that you're able to make Advance Dining Reservations and other special reservations through the Enchanting Extras Collection up to 60 days before your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort? According to my calculations, your "60-day" mark is coming right up!  Make sure to log in to your My Disney Experience account online or your My Disney Experience mobile app at 6 a.m. EST to snag all of your favorite dining locations and tours!

Since it sounds like your Theme Park Tickets have already been purchased and are linked to your My Disney Experience account you can currently see these Tickets within the "Tickets and Passes" section of your mobile app.  Underneath each Ticket's barcode you will see the "Reassign Ticket" button which allows you to change the member of your party who holds this Ticket as long as it remains unused.  For instance, if a member of your traveling party is no longer able to attend your magical vacation, you're able to assign their Theme Park Ticket to someone else who is able to make the trip.  You'll find that when you click "Reassign Ticket" your "Family & Friends" list will populate, allowing you to assign the Ticket to someone from that list or add a new Guest.

Remember, that currently all Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort need both a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a Theme Park Reservation for their first Park of the day.  I suggest making your Theme Park Reservations as soon as possible, as the week of Christmas can tend to be a busy and bustling time of year.

Enjoy all the holiday offerings throughout your time at the Resort! One of my very favorite holiday traditions is the Candlelight Processional at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.  If you're ready for a peaceful and joyous way to celebrate the season this is one performance you won't want to miss.

    Have a fabulous time!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
