Welcome to planDisney, Madison! As a fellow resident of the Sunshine State, I'll be thrilled to help you today. Being Mickey's neighbor is fantastic, but the
perks and benefits Walt Disney World Resort offers residents are just as magical. Let's look at how reassigning tickets will work so you can share the magic!
Since I don't know your exact admission type, my first recommendation is to
call the Existing Tickets line. They can see your account and determine if the complimentary ticket can be reassigned. Remember, if a guest has used the ticket, any remaining days cannot be assigned to someone else. Also, some comp tickets are only valid for the original guest. I'm wishing on a star you can give yours to someone who will enjoy it.
You can also log into your
My Disney Experience mobile app and tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile to swipe through your linked tickets. If a comp ticket is eligible for reassignment, a blue "Reassign Ticket" icon will appear under it. Tap that icon to select the desired guest from your
Family & Friends; they should be good to go to enjoy your generous gift!
You can also stop by any
Guest Relations location at the theme parks for assistance with tickets. I always look for the blue
Guest Experience Team umbrellas because those Cast Members are like Fairy Godparents and can help resolve almost any issue.
I have the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, so I recently reassigned an unused complimentary ticket I had been gifted. I followed the steps in my mobile app to give the ticket to my adult son. He was able to join me last week for Thanksgiving at
EPCOT. Disney memories shine the brightest, so I was so grateful to make some new ones with him.
Madison, I hope this holiday season is your merriest ever! Enjoy the mild Florida weather, and maybe I'll see you around the parks. Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
