Hello, we really wanted to see a parade but the days we wanted to go were Dec. 5-7th. Is there a possibility that there will be a parade that day?

    Hello there Samantha!

Let me be the first to offer you the most merry season's greetings! I'm thrilled to hear you're planning a visit to Disneyland Resort later this year. I had the chance to visit around the same time last year and was dazzled to see just how beautifully the halls were decked across Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park

The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort officially kick off on November 10 and will fill your cup (and heart) with holiday cheer from the twinkling lights and entertainment to the specialty seasonal treats. In August, Disney Parks Blog shared some details of the holiday excitement to come and I've been dreaming about a return trip ever since. You are sure to enjoy all the holly, jolly trimmings during your visit.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade is currently on the schedule at Disneyland Park twice per day beginning November 10. I noticed that the performance times weren't listed for November 19 just yet, but a Cast Member let me know that the entertainment calendar is usually updated about a month in advance. The December Hours & Events Calendar is not available at this time but I'd recommend checking as your travel date nears. Entertainment is always subject to change and cancelation I'm hoping you'll be able to enjoy the parade during your desired dates.

Last year, I had the very special privilege of watching some of A Christmas Fantasy Parade from Walt's Apartment above the Disneyland Fire Department building, and trust me when I say it was one of the most magical experiences of my life. This was one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, but you will be filled with the holiday spirit watching from anywhere along Main Street, U.S.A. as the parade passes by.  Once it's done, be sure to head over to Fantasyland to enjoy "it's a small world" Holiday and the beautiful facade light projection show which happens every 30 minutes after dark. Truly merry and magical!

You'll also want to be sure to experience the seasonal decor and merriment at Disney California Adventure Park. The holiday trimmings in Cars Land and attraction overlays like Mater's Jingle Jamboree are a family favorite but there is so much holiday spirit all across the park!

Samantha, I hope this puts you at ease as you plan your upcoming visit. If we can answer any additional questions please don't hesitate to jingle your way right back to planDisney and let us know.

    Magic and memories,
