We really wanted to dine at Beaches &Cream before our Illuminations Cruise and I was just able to secure an ADR for 4 on the desired date!!! The problem - we are a pity of 5. Will they allow us to wait for a booth so we can sit together?

    Hi Jodie,

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Ice cream and fireworks sound like my kind of evening!

The ideal solution would be to have a dining reservation that includes everyone in your party.  I know that can be a challenge sometimes, especially at some of the more popular dining spots, but that's really the only way to guarantee that your whole group can be accommodated.  I'd recommend keeping your current reservation and checking (either online or by calling) daily to see if a reservation for 5 people opens up between now and then.  If so, you can then cancel the first reservation.  Another option that has worked for my family of 5 in the past is for us to split up - I will make one reservation for 3 of us and my husband will make another for 2 of us.  It sometimes opens up some additional availability when I search that way.  When we check in at the restaurant, I just let them know and they usually can seat the 5 of us together.

If none of those approaches work, I'd still keep the reservation for 4 that you have and then let them know when you check in that you have a fifth person.  It could go either way, especially since seating at Beaches & Cream is quite limited, but hopefully the Cast Members can work some magic for you.  You can also let them know when you arrive that you'd prefer a booth, if one is available.

I hope that helps and wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation, Jodie!  Please visit us again if we can help answer any other questions.
