Hi! We really want to take our sons to WDW next spring/summer. Many people have told me that 2 1/2 years old is to young. Is it?

A resounding NO! from me!  Two and a half is definitely not too young. While I admit that I am biased, I think all ages are great to go to Disney.

Disney is incredibly family-friendly, so your sons will be able to ride almost everything there.  For what they can't go on, Disney offers rider switch tickets, so you and your husband can take turns riding without making the kids wait around.  Are your boys 35 inches tall?  If so they could even ride their very first roller coaster!  (And be sure to mention that to the Cast Member at Goofy's Barnstormer, too)

My oldest daughter was not yet two when she had her first trip to Disney, and she still remembers lots of things that happened.  It's true that it probably won't be a trip she remembers 'for the rest of her life'...but I will.  I will never forget her delight at meeting Mickey for the first time, getting to hug Snow White, dancing with Cinderella...It was fantastic.  And when they are young, the magic is all still completely real for them.  There's not the same skepticism you'll find among older kids; they truly believe and they are dazzled.  It's just wonderful.

And if you're not completely convinced yet, consider this.  If you take your sons before they turn 3, they're free.  What can beat that?  You won't have to buy park tickets for them, and they can even eat free when you dine at character or buffet meals, or off of your plate at table-service meals.  That's a big savings!

    Good luck with your decision!
