Is there really no way I can upgrade my magic key without going to the park? I live in the bay area, but I want to go for pixar fest but blocked out for the rest of summer!! Cruel world it is that it ends when the dates are available again!!!

    Howdy, Jordan!

Well, look at what the catfish dragged back in...to planDisney!

Since life is sweet here, you’ve got to be here. Naturally.

It sounds like you’ve been enjoying your Magic Key pass this year! I love hearing from fellow Magic Key holders. We’re like the coolest club, right? Were you able to snag one of those exclusive foam Panda Mei paws to watch the "Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!" Parade last month? They were so fun!

Well Jordan, I hate to bring you bad news, but unfortunately, as of now the only way to upgrade your Magic Key pass before your contract is over is to visit the ticket booths in person and pay the difference in full.

But don't worry too much! Even though the summer months are super popular, especially with Pixar Fest,  I've found that day-of reservations for weekdays are usually pretty doable. In fact, a quick peek at the availability calendar for a 1-Day Tier 4 Admission Ticket is showing availability throughout the summer months.

And Jordan, earlier this year when my family and I stayed at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, I learned that one of the privileges of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel is that the friendly hotel Cast Members can help you secure theme park reservations for dining as well as Events & Tours during your stay. Just let someone at the front desk know what plans you're dreaming of, and they'll do their best to make your dreams come true!

I know this isn’t the problem-free philosophy you were hoping for, Jordan, but If you have any more questions, just holler—I'm always here to lend a hand.

You've got a friend in me,
