I really want to take my nephew to Star Wars Weekend but his dad won't let me take him out of school so the only time I can go would be the last weekend they have it in June but I keep hearing how stiffling hot it is, how bad is it? What do you suggest?

Hi Elizabeth! Star Wars Weekend at Disney World is a must do for every Star Wars fan! Summer time is definitely warm in Florida. In June, the average temperatures range from a low of 72 degrees to a high of 91. Pack lots of lightweight clothing, with sun and rain protection. My advice is to take advantage of early mornings and evenings, when it's cooler. I would go to the parks early in the morning, and take a break for a few hours around noon. It's the perfect time to go for lunch and have a rest and swim back at your resort. Evenings when the sun goes down are cooler too.

Hope this helps Elizabeth! Write us back with any other questions!
