We really need a suite-type accomodation (with a separate bedroom and kitchenette) for our family. I've priced some of the villas for our dates (early June) but they are $$$. Are there any other alternatives in the park?

The Disney Vacation Club villas provide a large amount of space for families, but they can be expensive. Some other alternatives include the All Star Music Family Suites and the cabins at Fort Wilderness, both are likely to cost less than the DVC villas.

The Family Suites are in one building of the All Star Music resort. They sleep up to six people in two separate rooms, plus there are two bathrooms and a small kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a small refrigerator, a sink, a microwave and a toaster.

The Fort Wilderness Cabins are larger than the Family Suites. They also have two rooms and sleep six. With the cabins you do have a kitchen with a complete set-up of full-sized appliances, but there is only one bathroom. A great perk of the Cabins is that you also have wonderful outdoor space as part of your accommodations. The Cabins have an outdoor picnic table, so you can expand even further.

For more information and pricing on these alternatives, call Disney reservations at 407-W-DISNEY.
