Do I really need to make reservations for 3 meals when we're at Epcot? Or can we eat an early breakfast & a late diner and be satisfied with snack carts in-between? A lot of people say they only eat twice a day at disney but we can really put away lol.

Hi Brandie! You're a girl after my own heart! My family likes to eat too, and we've been known to have three dining reservations a day at Walt Disney World. There are so many fantastic restaurants there,  and we find it more relaxing to sit in a restaurant and have our food brought to us instead of wandering around a quick-service restaurant searching for a table with a loaded tray of food.  If you're visiting the parks during times of peak attendance, such as Spring Break or Christmas, you may appreciate the convenience of having three guaranteed meals -- to me there's nothing worse than having my hungry and tired family hiking through the parks searching for a restaurant with availability.  If your family feels the same way, you may want to make reservations for every meal. As long as you're dining at restaurants that don't require a credit card guarantee, you can always cancel a reservation if you're not hungry.

Three sit-down meals in one day can, however, really cut into your park time. For this reason, many people prefer to schedule one, or at most two, sit-down meals in a day. Epcot does have lots of food stands, and it's fun to sample items from the various countries in the World Showcase. You could easily make a meal of the snacks and quick-service options available. There are many restaurants at Epcot that almost always have availability for walk-in guests, so if you're not choosy about where you'll eat, you could likely find a last-minute table at a restaurant such as Nine Dragons or Marrakesh if you find that the snacks and quick-service items are not satisfying your family.

Wishing you a magical Disney vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
