Do I really need to book a Fantasmic dinner package to ensure seating at the show? I'm going the first week of October.

    Hi John,

If you're willing to wait in line a bit longer, there's no need to get the Fantasmic dining package.

During early October, guests will typically start lining up to get into Fantasmic about an hour before the show starts.

With a dining package, you'll be given a voucher that tells you to arrive at the theater about half an hour in advance of the show.

So the two real differences are that you may have to arrive a bit earlier without the package and you may have different seating. The "reserved" package seating is in one area of the theater. This is a fine location, but not totally front and center. If you're among the first admitted into the theater from the regular entrance, you may actually end up with better seats than if you had the package.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
