Am I really missing out if I don't go to the Christmas party? $240 seems like a lot of money for hot chocolate and a parade for a family of 4. What else am I getting? Thanks.

    Hi Lauren,

That really depends on what your priorities are. Some of the things included in Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party include:

    - greeting with characters not normally found in the parks
    - character dance parties
    - a Christmas themed stage show
    - special fireworks
    - special parade
    - snow on Main Street
    - cookies and cocoa
    - access to party-only merchandise
    - short lines for the rides (there are a limited number of tickets sold for each party)

If you've never done the party before and have older children, then I'd say it's certainly worth trying once. I love the festive atmosphere. But if you have young kids who may fall asleep before the midnight party end time, or if you're on a tight budget, then I'd say that the party might not be a priority for you.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
