Hi Amanda! Welcome to planDisney! Like you, I too, miss Disney’s Magical Express! But, as we know, the transportation service from Orlando International Airport to Disney Resort Hotels has driven into Disney history.
Guests are now free to choose the most convenient mode of transportation that best fits their vacation needs. When Disney’s Magical Express entered the Disney Vault, a bus transportation carrier stepped in to pick up the service. In fact, the bus transportation carrier had been a partner with Disney’s Magical Express all along. The only differences now are: there is a fee associated with the service, you need to book the service separately from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, and the buses are no longer decorated with Disney-themed wrapping (I know, I miss it too)!
Use the link above or go to an internet search engine and enter “bus transportation from airport to Disney World” in the search bar. The bus carrier to which I’ve been referring will most likely be one of the first, if not the first, option listed for you. They offer a “standard” service which includes multiple resort stops. This service is less expensive but takes a little longer, unless, of course, your resort hotel happens to be the first stop. There is an “express” service offered, which is a little more expensive, but will take you directly to your resort hotel. Our family of five finds the prices to be quite reasonable!
Of course, Amanda, don’t forget that once you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, transportation throughout the entire resort is complimentary!
Disney Transportation including buses, boats, the Monorail, and the Disney Skyliner can all be used to get you to where you need to go during your magical vacation!
Happy Planning!
