I really want a Mickey balloon, but know they wont travel on a plane well. "Can you buy Disney balloons from the vendors deflated?" or "Is there a way to deflate them so that they can be re-inflated when I get back home?"

    Hello Karen,

I saw your question and was truly intrigued and so did some research for you. First, Walt Disney World balloons are not sold deflated but I suppose it can not hurt to ask at Guest Relations, maybe with a little bit of pixie dust they may be able to help you. But if not, after searching on the internet many Guests inserted straws to release the air from the balloon, so they could pack their Mickey balloons in their luggage. I am sure there is further information on the world wide web about how to do this.

However, several Guests had a wonderful suggestion of passing along the Disney Magic. On the day of their departure, some Guests donated their balloon or balloons to a family that was just arriving or if they were leaving the park and a family was coming in, they passed their balloons to them. This idea truly warms my heart and is a wonderful and simple way to sprinkle some pixie dust on someone else's Walt Disney World vacation and could turn into a magical tradition.

I hope your upcoming stay to Walt Disney World is magical and memorable and let me know if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
