Hello, I really love this panel! Coming in exactly 60 days with my 2 very picky eaters. I'm wondering if the DDP is worth the price? I am sure they will not eat that much food, but I hear so many great things about the DDP.

Hi, Cheryl!  The Disney Dining Plan is really a very personal choice, but I will offer you some definite pros to purchasing the plan.

To begin with, I cannot think of a better way to budget for your meals.  We get many questions from people who want to know how much they should budget for food, and it's really kind of tough to estimate, not knowing whether someone is a big eater or a picky eater or will only snack throughout the day.  Having the Disney Dining Plan gives you a fairly all inclusive budget up front, so you know just what your food budget is for the trip.

Another plus to the plan is it typically encourages people to book their meals in advance.  Some people might not see that as a plus, because they don't like to be locked into specific dining times while they are on vacation, but many of the most popular dining experiences at Walt Disney World book in advance.  It's a rare occasion when someone can walk up and snag a table at Chef Mickey's or Cinderella's Royal Table.  Having the plan gives you a chance to sort out how many table service or counter service meals you'll be enjoying, and for most people, they'll book the reservations in advance.

Finally, even with picky eaters, if you are keeping a close eye on your vacation bottom line, you're going to be very picky about where you eat.  You may be constantly watching the budget to make sure you don't go over your vacation dining budget, and you might miss out on some amazing dining experiences.  The dining plan lets you eat where you want, without keeping an eye on what's coming out of your pocket!

Whatever you decide, I hope your vacation is wonderful!
