Hi there, Lubi. Thanks for bringing planDisney another great question. We're happy to help!
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is just weeks away from opening, and I love that you're planning for "goin' down the bayou" already! While there isn't official word yet, the new attraction will likely continue using the
Virtual Queue system currently used for
Magic Key Holder previews. For Guests with a valid
theme park admission ticket and
park reservation, there are two opportunities to enter a Virtual Queue on the day of their visit. The first is usually at 7:00 AM before the park opens, and the second is usually at 12:00 or 1:00 PM after scanning into the theme park. This information is important - if you haven't scanned into
Disneyland Park before the second Virtual Queue time opening, you won't be able to join the Virtual Queue until you do.
Lubi, once you join the Virtual Queue, you will be assigned a Boarding Group. Boarding Groups are called for their return time throughout the day, so there isn't a way to guarantee you will ride at a certain, preferred time. Last week, when I joined the
Haunted Mansion Holiday Virtual Queue at 7:00 AM, I was assigned a Boarding Group that was called well into the afternoon. However, on an earlier visit, I got a Boarding Group that rode right after the park opening. It's impossible to predict, unfortunately.
Given the date of your visit and its proximity to Tiana's Bayou Adventure opening on November 15, 2024, it might be a challenge to join both Virtual Queues on the same day, as you can only enter one Virtual Queue at a time. You'd need to join one Virtual Queue at 7:00 AM, ride that attraction based on when your Boarding Group is called, and join the second Virtual Queue when it opens around noon. You will need the fastest of fast fingers in order to secure your spot in the Virtual Queue using the
Disneyland Mobile App. For information on how to join a Virtual Queue, check out the
"How It Works" section on this Virtual Queue section of the Disneyland Website.
Lubi, there is one additional possibility that I'm not sure will be in play but thought I should mention it in case it is. Tiana's Bayou Adventure may be one of the attractions available for
Lighting Lane access. Lighting Lane (LL) Multi Pass is an additional, optional purchase that provides access via return times to certain attractions in each park. Currently,
Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Walt Disney World is available as an LL Multi Pass selection. Whether this will be an option and when has yet to be announced. So keep your eye on the Disneyland Website and
Disney Parks Blog as your visit draws nearer!
I hope this information helps! If there is something I didn't cover, or you have more questions, please let me know!
I would be happy to help.
See you in the parks,
Melissa
