I just realized we will be on our Disney Cruise when the next Hunger Games movie is released. Is there any chance the Fantasy will be premiering it the day it comes out?

Welcome aboard, Kristin! Disney Cruise Line offers so many events and activities onboard all four of their ships, and this certainly includes movies, both classics and new releases.

Unfortunately, the Hunger Games film was produced by Lionsgate, which is not a Disney affiliated company, so this film will not be showing in the Buena Vista Theatre while you're onboard the Fantasy. Disney Cruise Line does premiere, or should I say "Prem-EAR" Disney movies the same day that they are released in the theaters. Even films that you might not realize are Disney affiliated, like Lincoln, are shown onboard the ships, as that was a DreamWorks film, which was marketed and distributed by Disney's Touchstone distribution label.

While I'm sure you'll be disappointed to not be able to see the Hunger Games movie the day it premieres, I promise that once you set foot on the Fantasy, that will be the last thing on your mind, as the Cast Members onboard will keep you well entertained and so busy you'll be sad to leave the ship on your final morning onboard.

Please let me know if I can help with any other questions as you continue to plan your Fantasy cruise, Kristin!
