    I realize you get a magic band with your reservation, but can I buy a character magic band and use that instead? How does that work?

    Hi Cheryl!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Whether you choose your favorite Disney Princess, Disney Villain or even favorite park attraction, the graphic MagicBands are such a fun way to show your Disney side!

    If you would like to purchase one of the character bands before your trip you can shop on DisneyStore.com, the Disney Store mobile app or the Shop Disney Parks mobile app. You'll be able to shop the various graphic bands plus the fun MagicBandits and MagicSliders! If you'd rather wait until you're at the 'Most Magical Place on Earth', you also have the option of waiting until you arrive and you can purchase one at several locations around Walt Disney World Resort.

    After you receive your adorable new accessory, you can easily link your MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account using the 12 digit ID number printed inside. You can have multiple bands active within your account at one time, so if you receive a solid one prior to your trip and purchase a character one when you arrive, you'll be able to use them interchangeably!
