Hi there, Janet! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
As odd as it may sound, making all of my reservations for my family’s visits is one of my favorite parts of planning our visits to Walt Disney World Resort! I just love this step since I can put to use all of the previous research I’ve done and, hopefully, snag as many of my family’s “must-dos” as possible. That being said, there is a bit of an art to the reservation process and I am so excited to share my tips with you!
When it comes to
advanced dining reservations, Guests are able to make their reservations up to 60 days in advance. For Guests staying with the Disney Resorts Collection, they will be able to make their selections up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay. This is a great perk that can potentially give you early access to booking some of the most popular experiences! On the day your booking opens up, the
majority of dining locations release their availability at approximately 5:45 am Eastern Standard Time. It’s important to account for any time differences since these few hours can make the difference between snagging a reservation or not.
I generally recommend setting an alarm for about 20 minutes before the booking window opens! This gives you the chance to wake up, if needed, and log into your
My Disney Experience account. In my experience, this makes the reservation process go much smoother!
If you continue to experience technical problems with the website or with your My Disney Experience account, you may want to reach out to the
Website Support phone line directly. This does an excellent job solving any technical issues you may be experiencing and helps you get to planning faster!
I hope you are able to plan a practically perfect vacation to Walt Disney World Resort this summer! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
