I was reading that the park may reach capacity. We are visiting June 24-July 4, 2012 and are not staying at a resort should I be worried that we will not be admitted to the park?

    Hi Christina,

You will likely be fine during the first week of your vacation. However, you are correct that the Magic Kingdom does sometimes reach capacity around the July 4 holiday. When this happens, there may be curtailed access to the parks for several hours, typically in the mid-afternoon. If you are planning to visit the Magic Kingdom on July 2-4, you should arrive as early in the day as possible (arrive at park opening time) and make plans to stay in the park. Once you're in, they won't "kick you out," instead they just won't let any new guests enter.

If the Magic Kingdom is at capacity, you will be able to go to the other parks (assuming that they're not also at capacity levels). Epcot is has by far the largest guest capacity. When all else fails head there.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
