Hi! As I was reading through the Mom's Panel questions, I came across one that asks about dining seating, which leads to my question. Are family groups not automatically seated together? Our 2 staterooms are linked, so are we okay? Thanks!

Welcome back, Charlene! Sailing with my immediate family on a Disney cruise is always wonderful, but we've had even more fun when our extended family and friends have joined us on our sailings. I'm glad to hear you've got a group together ready to head out on the high seas with Captain Mickey and his crew!

Since your two staterooms are linked, you should be seated together for your nightly dining rotation. However, it never hurts to add a note to your reservation requesting that you all be seated together. I do that each time we have a larger group than my immediate family, just to be sure. You can call the agents at Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 with your reservation numbers to add that note to your stateroom accounts.

I love Rotational Dining with Disney! It's so wonderful to have the same dining servers with us each night as we rotate through the three main restaurants on the ship. They get to know us and our preferences, play games and do magic tricks for the kids, and really become like part of the family. You're in for a fabulous dining experience, Charlene! Happy planning!
