Hi I was reading online something about bringing a pillowcase with markers and leaving it at guest services for the characters to sign and we would get it at the end of the trip. Is this true? sounds awesome and my kids would love that please let me kno

Welcome back, Luigina! Yes! Another of the fun perks of cruising with Disney is that Guest Services allows guests to leave up to two items per stateroom to be signed by the Disney characters. Isn't that nice?

Of course, you won't want to miss actually meeting the Disney friends in person throughout the sailing too, but you won't have to hassle with carrying an item to be signed since Guest Services will take care of that for you. Your little ones may appreciate bringing their autograph book along every day though. Mine sure do!

Many guests will bring a pillowcase embroidered with their child's name, a Vinylmation figure, a blank photo mat, t-shirt or other item to be signed. Please plan to bring your own fabric or permanent markers in your color preference too, otherwise it might all be signed in black. I usually leave a little box of candy with our item too, just as a thank you for them taking the time to do this for our family. When you drop off your items, you'll fill out a form with stateroom information as well as check a box that says you'd like Mickey and the gang to sign, or the princesses, or all of them. It's up to you.

Then, before the last night of your sailing, your items will be delivered to your stateroom all signed (along with your markers if you left those too). You might consider not telling the kids you're doing this and then letting them discover their special souvenir surprise when they return to the stateroom one day. That's sure to be a magical moment for them!

Have fun planning, Luigina! I'm here if you have other questions!
