I have been reading through a lot of these questions, we are planning a WDW vacation for later this year. What is the Fantasmic Dinner Option I have been reading so much about?Where and how do we get tickets and what exactly do they include?

    Tracie,

I think you will find that the Fantasmic! Dinner Package ("FDP") is very simple.  It is no different than most other table service meals at WDW, but it provides everyone in your dining party a voucher that gives you access to a reserved entryway and seating area for the show.  You will still need to arrive at the entryway approximately 40 minutes before the show, but in peak season this can easily save you an hour or more of wait time.

The voucher is provided to you during the meal.  To reserve the Fantasmic! Dinning Package all you need to do is call 1-407-WDW-DINE and ask for a FDP reservation at one of the three qualifying restaurants at Disney's Hollywood Studios: The Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose, or Hollywood & Vine.  If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you can use it for this meal (it is one table service credit for either Mama Melrose or Hollywood & Vine, and two credits for the Brown Derby).

On nights with two showings, the FDP is only available for the first showing of Fantasmic! (the second showing usually has lighter attendance, so this voucher would not be nearly as useful anyway).
