From reading this great panel I just learned that the Waterpark + More option tickets include the Wide World of Sports. We are having our first family trip to WDW July 16-25/09 and I am wondering if we should make sure to visit there? Thanks

    Cindy,

The athletic facilities at the Wide World of Sports are quite impressive. The baseball stadium is a sight to see if you are a fan like me.

But unless you have a specific event scheduled here, I don't really see any reason to visit this complex. There is no real "attraction" here that is open daily for everyday Walt Disney World guests. As a matter of fact, bus service to this complex is only really available when something is going on here, like a sporting tournament, a marathon, the Atlanta Braves pre-season games, etc.

There is a world (excuse the pun) of other attractions, experiences, and venues to visit other than this complex. So unless you have a specific reason to visit, I would not make it part of your plans.

    Have a magical vacation!
