After reading the Frequently Asked Questions about Memory Maker I am more confused I would like to know if we will be able to download all the MM pics and make our own CD and how long after we leave WDW we will have to do this.

    Hello Dorothy,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We're so happy to hear from you again!

I'm thrilled to hear you've purchased Memory Maker for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.  I'm a huge fan of the service and purchase it for almost every visit.  I think you'll love it, as well.  I'm sorry to hear the details are a bit confusing, but I think I can help.

Once you've purchased Memory Maker and linked it to your My Disney Experience account, you'll want to be sure to have everyone in your travel group linked to your Family & Friends list to be sure you don't miss a single picture taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers during your trip.

YES, you will be able to burn all of those photos onto a disc once you're home.  Just visit the Disney PhotoPass website and you'll be able to view, edit (with fun stickers and borders) and download every last one of those files.  Here's the important part - you must do this within 45 days of the date each photo was taken (or purchase a one-time extension to 60 days) or the photos will expire, and when they expire they are deleted permanently from your account.

I hope that helps and wishing you a picture-perfect vacation, Dorothy!
