    Ahoy Stacy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you are doing your homework and are going to be ready to set sail for an amazing vacation with Captain Mickey very soon!
I'm glad to hEAR your little sailor is potty trained so he call fully enjoy the youth programming that is available onboard Disney Cruise Line. My kids have grown up experiencing these fabulous facilities and have made so many wonderful memories over the years. If you son is still struggling with buttons, I would just plan on having him wear elastic waisted pants or shorts for his visits to the Oceaneer Club. The counselors are not suppose to provide assistance so this would be the best way to handle this issue so you won't have to be worried while he is checked in. When you are there for Open House on the first day, you can practice with him so he knows exactly where to go and what to do. You can also speak in person with the counselors about his particular situation.
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question, Stacy! If you think of anything else, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
