We have been reading about Duffy the Disney Bear. Can we buy him in WDW? If so, where and how much does he cost? If anyone knows how large he is, that would be good to know too - I don't want my DD7 to get too excited if he is too big to fly home!

Hi, Jill!  You'll find Duffy the Bear in several Walt Disney World locations, including shops through EPCOT and even at Downtown Disney in the World of Disney Store.  He's almost as popular as a certain Mouse I'm thinking of!

Duffy comes in various sizes.  The one I think most people think of is the 17" version, which will cost about $25 (as of my most recent trip).  There is a larger version (I call this size the "No way is that gonna fit in my suitcase" size!) that will run you about $60, and for the first time on my last visit, I saw Duffy as a clip on for a backpack or a belt loop for about $6.

And don't forget the clothes!  They are almost as hard to resist as the bear himself!  You'll find a variety of Duffy outfits for about $15 each.

If you wait until near the end of your vacation, you can decide if the 17" size becomes your "No way is that gonna fit in my suitcase" size, but I think for the most part, this size is pretty doable for even the most avid souvenir hunter!

    Happy vacationing!
