Welcome Home!
Helen, pool hopping is yet another extra-special perk of our Disney Vacation Club Membership. I think a visit to the spectacularly themed swimming areas of each Walt Disney World Resort hotel is a fantastic way to really
test the waters and explore all of the unique and wonderful ways that each Resort hotel serves as an incredible backdrop for your families favorite moments. I think you will really enjoy it!
There are just a few things to keep in mind before you
wade on over to another swimming hole. Let's
dive in!
Disney Vacation Club Members staying on property at Walt Disney World Resort or Disney's Vero Beach Resort are free to visit most swimming pools at Walt Disney World Resort property, including those that are not Disney Vacation Club Resorts. There are a few exceptions that do not allow pool hopping, however, and they are:
Stormalong Bay and the leisure pool at Disney's Beach Club Resort
The Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort
Bay Cove Pool at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort
Uzima Pool and Samawatti Springs Pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
The Silver Creek Springs Pool at Disney's Wilderness Lodge
The pools of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
Also, there are blackout dates which you can access through the
Member Benefits section of the Disney Vacation Club Member website, where pool hopping is prohibited. This perk is also only offered provided that you desired pool destination is not at capacity. Finally, Members must bring along your convenient, durable, waterproof MagicBand for access to your desired pool.
Other than that, just remember to enjoy yourself and, as Dory would say, "Just keep swimming!"
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
