    I read Whispering Canyon has a Christmas dinner, at a different cost than the normal menu. Can you tell me what this cost last year? I have a 10yr old who doesn't eat much and so I need to weigh cost for buffets/family style versus a la carte. Thanks!!

    Hi, Jennifer!  What a great time we have had at Whispering Canyon Cafe - especially at Christmas.  The Wilderness Lodge just has a very homey, Christmas feeling, and having Christmas dinner here is just like sitting with family at home.

    The menu for Christmas Day at Whispering Canyon in the past has been served family style, and included smoked turkey, pork loin, oven roasted chicken, and roast beef.  We've also been served a salad, and side dishes that include mashed potatoes, stuffing, and mixed vegetables.  There is also a holiday dessert.

    Last year's price for the Christmas day menu was about $32 for adults, $15 for children aged 3-9.  Children under the age of three can eat for free.

    I can't promise there will be a special Christmas day meal offered again this year, and the menu items may vary from year to year.  The same is true of the price.  I do know, however, that this meal has been offered for the past several years, and is one my family has always enjoyed.
