    Ive read Veterans with an honorable discharge may purchase Magic Your Way tickets. My husband is a Veteran with an honorable discharge. How do we purchase tickets? He cannot go on base to purchase because he is not currently active nor retired military.

    Welcome to planDisney, Emily! And a giant THANK YOU to your husband for his service to our country. As a military spouse and veteran, I am well-versed in the special offers and different ticket types available for active duty, retired, and honorably discharged military. It is my pleasure to point you in the direction of where to purchase theme park tickets for Walt Disney World Resort.  

    Through the Shades of Green “Salute to Our Veterans” program, all military veterans who have received an honorable discharge have an opportunity to purchase discounted and tax-free tickets in person during January and September. This is also true for the opportunity to book a stay at Shades of Green Resort (subject to availability) during these two months. Proof of honorable discharge is required with a copy of a current DD-214 form. All veterans with a service-connected disability, Former POW, Purple Heart recipients, and Medal of Honor recipients with a Veterans Health Identification Card issued by the Veterans Affairs Office are eligible to purchase our discounted and tax-free tickets anytime through the website or in person at Shades of Green Resort.
