I've read that tips can be prepaid. Do I still need to tip room service & luggage handlers in person? Or do I explain to them that tips have been prepaid? I hope I'm not sounding too cheap, because I do want to tip appropriately.

    Ahoy Belinda!
You are not sounding cheap at all!  This is an excellent question because tipping on a cruise can be a bit confusing! The gratuities you prepay will be for your stateroom host/hostess, dining server, assistant server, and head server.  Tips for services on the ship like bar service and the spa are included in the individual bill you will receive after you order or receive the service.
Room service tips and tips for porters need to be in cash.  I usually bring along some small bills to have on hand for when my family utilizes these services.  We drive to the port so the porters assist us both upon arrival and after we collect our luggage in the terminal.  We also love to order room service (especially the Big Island Cookies and Mickey Bars) so I make sure I have enough small bills to tip a few dollars each time.
I hope this helps, Belinda!  Thanks again for allowing me to assist you with your plans!
    Have a magical day!
