I read for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge no “Wook-Alikes” will be allowed as Chewbacca will be the only Wookie allowed. Does this rule pertain to children too (ie: if my little boy wanted to dress up as Chewbacca would that be allowed)?

    Bright Suns Tonya!

Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu is known to be frequented by traders, adventurers, and smugglers. During your visit to the Galaxy’s Edge, you may indeed see Chewbacca as well as other members of the Resistance. Be on alert at all times however, as the First Order also has a presence.

Human adults ages 14 and older are encouraged to Disney Bound and wear clothing similar to that found by the residents of Black Spire Outpost to blend in and not be suspected by the First Order, but full costumes are not allowed. Trying to avoid capture by dressing as an adult Wookie or Jedi is prohibited.

For younglings under the age of 14, wearing such a costume or disguise is permitted. However, if a mask is worn, it must not cover the entire face, and eyes must be visible. Safety is always a priority, so make sure your “Wook-alike” will not be too warm in the heat of the planet, and that costume parts do not drag on the ground or pose any other safety concerns.

Wishing you a good journey to the planet Batuu!
    May the Spires Keep You,
