I read on another site you can use your refillable mug at any resort. Thought that it was only home resort you could refill at. Will be visiting many resorts to see decorations Dec 09. Don't want to carry around my mug if I wont be able to refill. Thanks

Refillable mugs are a controversial topic. (Who knew?) There is a pretty clear divide between Disney's policy on refillable mugs and what many guests actually choose to do. The rule posted on the beverage dispensers at the resorts clearly states, "Refillable mugs may be used at the resort where they were purchased, during the stay that they were purchased." In practice, you will see many guests who are either unaware of or choose to ignore this rule -- using mugs from previous stays or other resorts. I'm very much a stick-to-the-rules kind of gal, but obviously you can let your own conscience be your guide.

On another note, visiting the resorts to see the holiday decorations is a wonderful activity. I will be at WDW during Thanksgiving weekend. I hadn't planned on touring the resorts, but my kids are now begging me to make the rounds of the hotels to see the all holiday finery. I think I'm going to have to rearrange my schedule to add in some decoration-viewing.

I hope you have a wonderful trip!
