    I have just read on another site that the MK monorail will not be running between the hour of 11:30 am to 7 pm for maintenance. Do you know if this is correct? If so, what transportation will be available for people staying at the Contemporary resort.

    Thanks so much for your question!  The information you read is correct.  Starting January 21, 2014 and continuing through late March, monorail service on the Magic Kingdom Resort and Express routes will be temporarily unavailable between 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.  The Epcot monorail will be unaffected.  There will be additional watercraft and buses available for you, plus there is a walking path between Magic Kingdom and Disney's Contemporary Resort as another option, so I wouldn't anticipate any problems getting to your destination during those times.
