I've just read that some of the resorts (such as Saratoga Springs) have weekly fun runs. How do I learn if Wilderness Lodge has such a weekly run?

    Hi Marc!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love seeing more and more folks trying to find a way to stay active during their Walt Disney World Resort vacation, whether it's partaking in a runDisney event or jogging along the New Balance Running Trails on property.

When you check into your resort, I'd ask the friendly Cast Member assisting you for a Recreational Calendar for Disney's Wilderness Lodge during your stay. These Fun Runs that occur on property are not official runDisney events and are subject to cancellation or changes so they are not something you'll see posted online far in advance. If a Fun Run is not taking place during your trip, I'd encourage you to check out some of the New Balance Running Trails nearby!  There is a 3/4 mile shaded fitness trail that connects your resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. If you make it to the Campground there is also 2.5 mile long pathway through that property as well to explore. A Cast Member at the front desk should also be able to supply you more information and a map for this upon check in.

Please let me know if you have any other questions for your upcoming trip!
