I have read that the resort loop monorail starts operating at 0700 (wdwmagic.com) but in other places that all monorails simply start 1 hour before parks open. So in the fall when the MK opens at 0900, does the resort loop start at 0700 or 0800?

Hi, Jeremiah! On most days, the monorail begins running around 6:30 in the morning, which helps accommodate guests that have early morning dining reservations, both at the resorts and the theme parks.

Schedules are subject to change, so check when you arrive, but it's safe to say that by 7:00 AM, you are likely to find the monorail ready to go.
