    I read that there was going to be refurbishments done to The Hippy Dippy Pool in early winter 2020. Just wonder what month that is. I am not familiar with the seasons in the US.

    Isn't it magical to travel back in time when staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort? I love the attention to detail throughout this resort, including the larger than life icons that range from the 1950s to the 1990s! There's always warm feelings of nostalgia as you stroll from decade to decade. And if the theming here isn't exciting enough, the brand-new Disney Skyliner will begin transporting Guests from this resort in the coming days! I know you are looking forward to using this magical mode of transportation on your next visit. 

    Peggy, I am glad you reached out with this question about The Hippy Dippy Pool refurbishment that is coming soon. At this time, the work is scheduled to begin in January of 2020 and last until early spring of 2020. I suggest checking Disney's Pop Century Resort page for any updated information in the coming months. The good news is you'll still be able to enjoy splashtacular fun at the Bowling Pool and the Computer Pool if your vacation overlaps with the refurbishment. We've visited several times in the cooler months, and we always enjoy taking a dip since the pools are heated.
