    I read that it is recommend to purchase tickets at the park upon arrival. What is the typical wait time at the gate on the weekend? I was hoping to purchase online (with giftcards) and printing my own admission.

    Hi Melinda,

    I think it is up to you on when and how you purchase your Magic Your Way tickets. Some guests like to purchase prior to arriving to spead the cost of their vacation out over a few months. Other guests like to wait to arrive at their resorts and purchase there so they can add their park tickets to their Key to the World card.

    I think some guests are afraid they will forget to bring their tickets with them on vacation. I usually pick mine up at will call at any of the four major parks.

    As for the wait time on the weekends, some days are faster than others. A good hidden gem is the International Gateway to Epcot. This entrance services the Boardwalk area resorts so few guests know about this entrance. Animal Kingdom is another good choice because few guests make this their first stop on their vacation.
