    I have read some of the previous ques re: Rainforest Cafe and the dining plan. They all say that it can't be used with the dining plan, but when you look under places to eat at R.Cafe it shows Disney Dining Plan accepted. How do I know for sure? Thanks.

    Hi Jeff! I agree with you that the Disney website is confusing on this point, and for that reason, I recently called the Rainforest Cafe to ask whether they accepted the Dining Plan. I spoke with both locations and was told that neither the Animal Kingdom nor the Downtown Disney location of the Rainforest Cafe accepts the basic or deluxe Disney Dining Plan. The Rainforest Cafe does, however, accept the Premium and Platinum Dining Plans, which is why you see "Dining Plan Accepted" on the Disney website. The Rainforest Cafe is a very entertaining restaurant with its life-size animatronic creatures, but unless you have the Premium or Platinum plans, you'll have to pay out-of-pocket to dine there.
