I read online that DVD player is not allowed because it may not be compatible with the TV. What about portable DVD player? I like to bring my own movies just in case my son doesn’t like the ones provided. (Disney Fantasy Feb 2014)

Welcome back, Diana! Many guests do bring along their portable DVD players from home. We usually have ours with us, only because it's great for the kids on the flight.

Once on the ship, of course you can use that if you'd like, but ours usually stays packed because I promise you that there will be many different entertainment choices for your son onboard. From first run movies playing in the Buena Vista Theatre, incredible children's activities and events all day and night in the Oceaneer Club and Lab, and family activities all around the ship, I bet you and your son will be busy all day!

In your stateroom, the television offers a wide variety of channels including many Disney channels with Disney and other studio movies for kids, classic Disney cartoons and more.

Stop back with more questions, Diana! Isn't it fun to plan your very first Disney cruise?
