I read at one point a suggestion to decorate the door to your cabin thus adding more fun to the trip. Thinking it said you can not use tape on the door. Will magnets on the back of our poster work? If not, how do you suggest we can our decorations?

Welcome aboard, Elizabeth! Decorating your stateroom door when sailing with Disney Cruise Line makes it really fun each time your return to your stateroom. Not only does it help you more easily identify which stateroom is yours, but the kids really get into decorating!

Disney Cruise Line does not allow adhesives to be used on the doors as they can damage the doors and paint. Magnets are allowed, however, and that is how guests put up their decorations. We like to print out our own designs, laminate them, then attach a magnet to the back. Sometimes we even purchase printable magnetic sheets at office supply stores and simply print our designs right onto the magnet sheets. Then we can cut them out and put them right up on the doors. If you do an online search for Disney Cruise Line magnet designs, you'll find all sorts of fun ideas other guests have created and many of them are there to share so you can print them for yourself too!

Have fun getting ready for your cruise, Elizabeth!
