I read that you do not need to carry your passport with you while on the cruise or when leaving the ship in the Bahamas and that you just need photo i.d. Do we need to take it with us the day we go to Florida since this will be our 1st port back in the US

    Hi Michelle!
My family is getting ready to sail this same itinerary in just three days, and I've heard that Guests will have to present themselves to Customs in Port Canaveral.  If that is the case, passports will be needed. I have traveled many times to Disney's terminal in Port Canaveral and it won't take long at all!
If you think of any other questions about your Bahamian sailing, please let me know!  In just a few more days, I will know firsthand what you can expect on your August vacation!
