Howdy Emilea!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with a great question as I know I like to squeeze every last magical minute out of my visits to the parks and I'm sure you do too! I see your vacation starts
TOMORROW so let's waste no time getting you an answer!
Emilea,
The Cabins at Disney's Ft. Wilderness Resort are currently a moderate resort, but they are undergoing renovations and will soon be
The Cabins at Disney's Ft. Wilderness Resort - A Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Resort. This time of transition can make things a little confusing, so I checked in with a Cast Member to make sure I was giving you the most up-to-date information. Right now, guests at the cabins would not be eligible for
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours as this benefit is reserved for those staying at
Deluxe or
Deluxe Villa Resorts. Once the renovated cabins are opened as a DVC property, guests will be eligible for the extended evening hours benefit.
While I know this may not be the answer you were hoping for, don't forget all of the
great benefits you'll still receive for staying in the Disney Resorts Collection, including
Early Theme Park Entry. Also, you'll have plenty of activities to enjoy around Ft. Wilderness Resort. After a few busy days in the parks, I love the idea of enjoying a relaxing evening at
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long and then watching
Happily Ever After from the beach.
Emilea, I hope you enjoy a rootin' tootin' good time on your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please feel free to mosey on over to planDisney again with any other vacation planning questions you have in the future!
So long partner!
Kristi
