I read about memory maker and think it may be a good option for our next trip. But is the photopass cd option still available? I will pre order either way. Do you still get photo pass cards?

    Hi Ann,

Thanks so much for your question!  I'm a huge fan of the new Memory Maker service, so I'm glad to hear you're thinking about it for your next trip.

Memory Maker is a completely digital service, which means you can view and share all of the photos on your account instantly.  It also means that once you return home, you can download and print all of those pictures using any method you prefer.  After my trip, I just saved my Memory Maker photos directly to my external hard drive and then sent them off to be printed by an online service.  If you decide you'd like a CD, I'm happy to say that you can still order one for an additional charge after your trip.  You would order this directly from the Disney PhotoPass website (look for this option under "Products" as "Memory Maker Archive Disc").

With Memory Maker, if you're purchased it in advance as part of a vacation package, it will likely be linked to your Magic Band.  Otherwise, you can just as easily use the Memory Maker Card and/or the cards that are available from the Disney PhotoPass photographers.  Just be sure these are all linked to your Memory Maker account in advance so that you don't miss a single photo.  This Memory Maker FAQ page will tell you more, but please don't hesitate to ask us if you have any other questions.

    Happy vacation planning!
