    i read about the meet the rhino experience and it sounds great- has it been modified to include a picture?

    Hi Ann Marie,

    I just returned home from a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and I was truly blessed to be able to experience the Up Close with Rhinos tour at Disney's Animal Kingdom. You're going to LOVE it!

    Getting a peek behind the scenes to see how the animals are cared for was so cool, and was I struck by how much the caretakers truly love the animals they're privileged to work with each day. On the tour, you'll be able to learn about white rhinos, the threats they face, their personalities (I confess: I didn't know rhinos had personalities!), and the care they require. If the rhinos are feeling cooperative, you might even be able to have an interaction with a rhino! On the day of my tour, Helen the rhino was in a great mood, and getting to "meet" her was an unbelievably incredible experience!

    Because the Up Close with Rhinos tour takes you to backstage areas of the theme park, there are no cameras, videos, or cell phones allowed during the tour. At this time, there is no photo opportunity as part of the tour. As soon as my tour ended, though, I pulled out my phone and jotted some notes down about the experience so that I could relive the memories of my tour for years to come. I recommend experiencing Kilimanjaro Safaris either before or after your tour where you'll hopefully get to see more white rhinos, and there you may capture all of the photos that you'd like!
