I’ve read a lot about wearing buttons to celebrate your special event (first timer, birthday, anniversary, etc) at WDW, but haven’t found out where to find them. Are they available at a specific gift shop? Guest services? How much are they?

    Hi there, Amy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad you stopped by with your question. I've always found Walt Disney World Resort to be the perfect vacation destination for a special celebration.

Celebration buttons are a great way to let Cast Members and other Guests know you are celebrating a special event. My children always wear a "Happy Birthday" button if we visit on their birthday. They love all of the birthday greetings they receive from Cast Members and other Guests. I'm happy to report there is no charge for the celebration buttons. If you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can pick the complimentary buttons up at the Front Desk of your resort. If not, you can pick them up at Guest Relations in any theme park or most merchandise locations.

Guests with dining reservations may also pre-order cakes to be delivered at select Table-Service restaurants. Cake delivery is also available to Guest rooms at Disney Resort hotels. I have tried the Mickey Mouse celebration cake in chocolate and white chocolate and highly recommend them for a special occasion. The cakes were both equally adorable and delicious!

I hope this information has been helpful to you. Keep those questions coming, Amy. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Happy Celebrating,
    Jodie
