I have read that my "Key to the World" card would allow me to charge purchases back to my room bill. How does this work exactly; can I pay in cash back @ the hotel or does it automatically get put on my credit card, is their a surcharge for this

There is no surcharge or extra fee to add charging privileges to your Key to the World card. When you check in to your hotel, the desk clerk will ask you to if you want to add charging rights to your room card. (You can also have your park tickets and your dining plan information put on the card). You must have a credit card on file at the hotel. You can set any limit to the charging privileges you like, from as little as $100 up to many thousands.  As you charge items to your card, they get added to your hotel bill that your receive at the end of your stay.

The main reason you would add charging rights to your card is for convenience. With charging on the Key card, you really only have to bring that one card with you to the parks. Also, many people find it easier to keep track of their vacation spending if everything is on one bill. You can still always pay for anything you want to using cash or another credit card.
