Hey there, hi there, Dawn! I have been waiting for this news for what feels like years - I mean, yes, because it has been years - but I'm so happy to tell you that
Fourth of July Fireworks are indeed BACK!
If you check out the theme park calendar for
Sunday, July 3rd, and
Monday, July 4th, you'll see Disney's Celebrate America! - a Fourth of July Concert in the Sky is listed on both evenings. The time currently says 9:20, but I'd definitely keep checking back with that calendar because the time is subject to change.
So now let's look at these dining reservations.
Kona Cafe doesn't have windows to the outside to see the fireworks show, so I would say that the 8:55 reservation time might cause you to miss the show. I'm not even sure there would be a way to make it if you rushed through your meal.
Steakhouse 71, on the other hand, seems a little more like a feasible option. You could enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace, and then head out to the observation deck on the fourth floor of
Disney's Contemporary Resort. If you finish your meal earlier, you can grab a cocktail at the
Outer Rim or do a little shopping, but you won't want to wait too long. It's going to be a busy place both evenings.
Have a practically perfect time, Dawn!
Anna
